Today, I was up early - very early - to catch an 8:09am bus to Garden City. I did this for 2 reasons:
1. to beat the heat for the day.
2. to beat the crowds for last-minute shopping.
I got home about 4 hours later and just in time for the parents to bring in their littlies from day care for the afternoon... yep, I caught the 11:30am bus right on time to miss the screaming, tired 4 year olds bugging their parents because they were bored.
But I did get some shopping done. I got all of Little Miss Stevie's photos developed, a feeder for the fishies and some grocery shopping done too; as well as buying some calendars for the home and as Christmas presents for some last-minute people I'd forgotten.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
@digitalrn And now? I'm not going anywhere - unless it's down the road to the chemist and fruit store - until the weekend. That's it... no more Christmas shopping for me... no more delving into crowds or any place I don't want to be unless I want to be there... I know that sound horrible, but really I can't stand the Christmas Rush. I've been organised for Christmas for the last 5 years... how come other people aren't?
