I've been looking around at tattoo parlours around Brisbane for a few weeks and found Old Skool Tattoo at Springwood - in my local area - has great reviews. They're lovely people and the guy who does all the tattooing is patient as well.
I chose the semi-colon because my life hasn't been perfect, I've been through some rough times and have come out the other side in tact... however I still have bad days. This is to remind me to keep on going; that every day is always fresh and I'm going to be okay.
It cost me $50 which goes to Beyond Blue - as charity to help people with depression, anxiety and other mental disorders and problems.

@wendyfrost yeah... I was just sussing out Old Skool Tattoo at Springwood and they told me all about what they did for the semi-colon thing and I jumped in and got it done. The best thing is that they are so friendly, great to their customers, and welcome first-timers like me.
And yes, I'm planning my next one too. :D
