I went out to look at Christmas Lights last night, but not everything went to plan.
First, I got lost around the Fruitgrove area - and that's strange, seeing I used to live nearby and I drove around the area all the time years ago. I guess my memory isn't what it used to be! hahaha...
Well, I found main road and followed it and found myself in a familiar place and looked around at other lights.
The top photo is along Rochedale Road... a lovely big house near a school, which during the day has a flag of some sort flying off the car port roof, and so I turned around the took this photo from my car from across the road.
The three along the bottom is of a house in Thornhill Street around the corner from Mum and Dad's house. I got out of the car and just had to see this place up close... it's amazing.
I found it strange that people wouldn't get out of their cars, they just cruised by without stopping. Looking at Christmas Lights used to be such a social occasion, now it isn't.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
