At the Logan Artists Association, we've had Your Town building things and extensions for us. But these guys/boys are also studying at Kingston College - not far from here - and they graduated from their classes at the college.
The thing is that their parents and guardians (as some of them don't have a solid home), don't know what work they do with Your Town (which is an employment group for kids who have a criminal record who can't get a job), Di, at the LAA thought to put on a Graduation Day here yesterday too.
It went off well. The boys felt appreciated. They all got a certificate of completion of the project. Their guardians and parents were there and some of the bigwigs from the Logan City Council were there too.
Me? Well, I had to drop off some paintings and only showed up at the very end when everyone was leaving.
Writer, poet, artist and prolific reader.... that's me.
I'm a collector of books, vinyls, coin purses and strange handbags... that's me too.
Otherwise, I love...
