My husband is a volunteer fire fighter and I was at the fire station this afternoon helping to set up for an event that's being held there this evening.
I can imagine the flurry of activity in the locker room when the siren sounds and all the fire fighters rush to the station to get into their gear ready to go out on the shout.
A great image - I always love to see the boots with the overalls ready to go. Volunteer firemen have featured in my life too - dad was a volly for 33 years, and my husband for 29.
