I was inspired when I saw the lovely ICM shots posted by @julzmaioro recently so I thought I'd have a go. This is my first attempt at ICM of a hibiscus flower but I'm not sure if they are the right sort of thing or are just a blurry mess. I'd appreciate your comments on whether any of these are on the right track. My aim was to create an abstract of the flower.
Well done! I like the middle shot as you can still see that it is/was a flower but that you have captured it from a totally different perspective. Only my opinion and as you well know, I know very little about such things :)
@julzmaioro will be impressed with your efforts - I didn't tell you, but she did VERY well with her ICM image (of the forest) at Camera Club tonight - none other than top image - cool eh?
I really like the middle image of the three - you can still identify it as a flower. The other two have gorgeous colours. Well done - you and @alinz have done some amazing images in the short time you have been on 365.
Well done Nick. Yes I like the middle one as well , same reason. And thank you @dide for the high praise. I am pretty chuffed. Keep practicing. Taken me a while to get the result I did.
