Red Hot Pokers

I've loved seeing the bright, vibrant colour of these red hot pokers on our recent dull, wet days. They're in a neighbour's garden. When it's been raining it's looked like they've been sheltering under the bush. Of course, despite having had rain for what feels like weeks, when I went to take a photo today it was dry!
