Not sure what these flowers - some sort of crocus maybe? They're about that size. They're very pretty anyway and they must have grown overnight because I'm sure they weren't there yesterday! ;-)
It's so nice to see all the flowers starting to appear now spring is here.
They are Freesia's and have a beautiful smell.. one of my favourites.. lovely shot. They come in lots of different colours but the cream/white ones are the original..
@julzmaioro Thanks Julia, you're a mine of floral information :-) I thought they looked a bit too chunky for freesias and I didn't notice the smell today. I'll have to go back tomorrow and have a sniff, although they're on a verge by a road so anyone watching may think I'm a bit mad, lol!
@alinz I just saw these on a verge in our street - but no bees on them. They do seem to have popped up all over the place in the last few days.
