The Other End of My Street

22 Steps Challenge - Day 7. This is the opposite end of my street to yesterday's shot. It ends in a cul-de-sac with fields beyond. To the left and right are new houses that have been built on land that was once an orchard.

Nice image, I like it in monochrome. Nice framing with the branches. It sounds like the challenge was interesting.

Can't quite see me. If we'd done a few more steps, we may have met in the middle!

@tramway Thanks Bev. It was a good challenge - I just wish I'd started from a different point to try and get more interesting shots. Still one of the points was to try and create shots from something normal.
@yorkshirekiwi Doing only 22 steps a day I think we would have had to play for a month or longer to meet in the middle, lol! I didn't seem to get very far.

@nickspicsnz depend on the length of your steps. I was suprised not to reach our boundary

Maybe next time I should say '1km' rather than 22 steps then we would all get fit too!!!

I have just looked at you 22 steps photos. What a neat challenge. I like how you have taken photos at different times of the day.

I have been looking at these too - perhaps one for us too @deliad?

This looks lovely and peaceful.

@yorkshirekiwi I tried to take giant steps to get as far as possible, lol!
@alinz That would be an interesting challenge too.
@deliad Thanks. I tried to take to mix things up a bit.
@pitasmum It was a good challenge - something a bit different.
@888rachel Thanks Rachel. Our street is pretty quiet most of the time.

THis is very pleasing. Nice lines and framing.. Lovely scene at the end of your street.

Lovely shot with great framing. But it always makes me sad when orchards or other green spaces are sacrificed for "development".

I would enjoy seeing more of the neighborhoods people live in! It gives us "a sense of place" in which to think of you! This looks lovely and tranquil.
