Setting Up

We've had a busy few days over the last week, setting up and running an Art & Photography Exhibition as a charity fundraiser. Some of our willing volunteers are pictured in this photo. It was an amazing event organised by 5 women (including @alinz and myself) who'd never done anything like it before. It seemed to be very positively received by everyone who exhibited and those who came along to have a look.

I'd particularly like to thank @dide for her support by coming all the way from Waiuku to have a look. And also @tramway and @auntieju for their support too – great to meet you ladies.

This was why I've been so tied up for ages and so behind on 365 all the time!

It was a great exhibition and the place was abuzz when I arrived on Friday. Well done to you all - hard work, but well worth it and consequence exhibitions will be easier.

@dide Thanks Dianne, hope you enjoyed it. Just wish I'd had more time for a chat. It was non-stop all evening on Friday and then we had a good steady stream again on Saturday.

From all I'm reading here, it was a marvelously successful event! I love that it included both art & photography! People love the opportunity to display their work, and the rest of us enjoy looking at it and often shopping!
