Deliveries by Helicopter

This helicopter was picking up building materials from some trucks down on the street and lifting them up onto the roof of this building next door to the Sky Tower. It was there for quite a while and the noise from it echoed all around the streets in the centre of Auckland. I'm sure this type of thing happens all the time in cities but I feel a bit like the country mouse when I go to Auckland and am in awe of things I don't normally see.

You've stopped the rotors, no sign of blur. I looked at the Exif and see that you used 1/1600th sec. must have been a bright day.

@laroque Thanks for your feedback. I used my new camera for this shot and I'm still using it on auto at the moment. Is it better to have the rotors static or blurry?

@nickspicsnz No idea which is better, just amazed that you could do it. We see the occasional air ambulance here, so now I have something to try out myself.
