Moss

Some purple petals had fallen in the water in our bird bath and I was going to take a photo of them floating. But when I got close I liked the look of this moss on the rim of the bird bath so decided to focus on that instead.

Like this the best of the three you posted today. The shallow depth of field leads your eye towards the moss.

I liked this one because I used manual focus which I'm not very good at. But the auto focus didn't seem to get the focus where I wanted it. The moss was really tiny so I was pleased how it turned out.
