A beautiful winter's day today - even more appreciated after all the rain of the last week. I thought the fields where I walk Tilly would be flooded and hoped that, because it was so still, I'd get some nice reflection photos. I was there for nearly two hours until the sun had gone down. The water in this shot is in one of the flooded areas. I thought the scene looked really calm and peaceful.
Beautiful outward ripples Nick, it looks just lovely. Interesting to see your time when you took this. Quite light for that time in the evening on a winters day when you have only just passed the shortest day. We are light from around 4.15 am until just after 10pm at the moment but I notice when we visit you haven't the same large difference.
