I took @alinz to the airport this evening and on the way home I stopped at a viewing place to try and get a few shots. It was pouring with rain so I poked the camera out of the car window rather than get out and set the tripod up. I patiently waited for a few airplanes to take off and then realised I'd set the ISO so high, and it was raining so hard, the shots were really noisy. I've had to smooth this out a bit using Pixlr but I don't know how successful it is - it looks OK on my screen but may look a bit different on other people's screens. Not surprisingly this looks better on black.
