Glorious Sunset

I thought I wasn't going to have a shot to post today and then this glorious sunset appeared while I was cooking dinner. I knew it wouldn't last long so I grabbed the camera and rushed out into the back garden to get some shots. Luckily my husband turned the gas down on the stir fry I'd abandoned so it was still edible. This lasted less than 5 minutes before it was gone.

I'm back to work tomorrow after two weeks' holiday and rain nearly every day. Of course the weather forecast is better for the coming week so this must be the red sky at night to go with it - typical!
