Lake Hakanoa by nickspicsnz

Lake Hakanoa

So sorry for the mass upload - having to catch up yet again!

I met up with a friend and we went for a walk around the lake in Huntly with my pooches. There were about 100 Canada geese on the path and they all headed for the lake as we approached with the dogs. The building on the horizon is Huntly Power Station.
Cool picture.

Thanks for the follow Nick. I will follow in return as will be good to look at NZ photos as well. My wife was born in Huntly and I was born in England but moved to Aust when young. Then to NZ when 18.

@nzkites Hi John. We live just up the road from Huntly in Te Kauwhata. Whereabouts in the UK are you from and where are you in NZ? There are quite a few Kiwis on 365. We moved here from Wales about 9½ years ago (although I was born in England I sound Welsh as I spent most of my life there.)

@nickspicsnz Hi Nick Janice was brought up in Te Kauwhata on a dairy farm on Waikare Rd just out of town. I was born in Doncaster but lived in a market garden in Thorne. Then migrated to Adelaide then NZ. I don't really remember much about England.
