Giant Tree Fern

Amazing huge tree ferns at a mountain bike park on Pirongia Mountain. @yorkshirekiwi was stood next to one while she was trying to locate a bird that was extremely loud in one of the trees. I think each fern leaf was bigger than us.

Wow, we have a lot of fern here in the pacific Northwest, but nothing giant as this!
