OK so after 10 days isolation we decided to explore a gorge close to where we are staying, seems we may have taken on a bit much on our first day out. The Guadalhource valley is apparently home to one of Spains geographical wonders. The Gargantuan del Chorro is a gaping chasm 180m high, slashing through a limestone mountain. In some places, where the Guadalhorce river hurtles through the gorge, waters foaming white, it is only 10m wide. Visitors access the gorge via the Caminto del Ray walk way, attached to the walls of the gorge over 100 M above the river, the path is apparently one of the scariest paths in the world, so much for our stroll!!
Good to hear you are up and about again, but this one may have been a bit energetic for your first outing. Fabulous shot hope you are feeling much better.
