For me, for this month, yes!
Because I love words, here is what the dictionary has to say:
door - a hinged, sliding, or revolving barrier at the entrance to a building, room, or vehicle, or in the framework of a cupboard.
gate - a hinged barrier used to close an opening in a wall, fence, or hedge.
Thank you for the question! I have never before thought to look up these commonplace words to see the similarities & differences.
