I don't know... I just kind of liked this scene... the different lines and the two individuals facing away from each other, each in their own little world... I am not sure it would be quite considered in the style of Henri Cartier-Bresson, but I am tagging for the artist challenge nonetheless... (i actually think the photog shot i posted on monday would fit well, but it was taken last week, so too early for the challenge)...
Thank you for the lovely comments on my photog shot posted on Monday... and the ones i continue to get on my craptastic trees... i really do appreciate all the support - especially on my experiments...
i am very behind in commenting and i am afraid will remain so for another couple of days at least... i'm still sick, the kids still have hockey, and i'm still trying to get ready for Christmas... please bear with me?
Yes! What I like are the "background" or "supporting" verticals, the trees on the left as "nature" matching the buildings on the right. Of course, the figure makes the whole interest. Lots of story material here!
I am really liking this shot too, very well composed. You eyes are drawn to the trees, the sweeper then the person behind the trees...well my eyes anyway.
Just saw this as a finalist in the artist challenge. I voted for #3 because of "the moment" but I love this shot. Love the comp and the gal that gets lots in the treat trunks. Fav for me.
This is so wonderful. The title is important, I didn't even see the other person at first, but the title kept me looking!! And all those bare vines are great. fav! (and a vote at the challenge) :-)
Love so much about this. The lines, composition, mood, B&W.
I also love the timelessness of it. Their clothing is generic enough that it doesn't tie them to a certain era. Could be anytime.
