spent some time earlier this week trying to catch a looming wave... prolly would've come out better with a smaller aperture and a bit more sunshine :)
Superb capture of the wave breaking - I know how hard it is to do and I've never been happy with any of my results, but I love this

I really like this as it is. Smaller aperture? I know I'm having an eye test on Monday, but it looks good to me. I like the out of focus distant water. And sunshine ...do you crave burned out highlights? Check the range of tones in Silver Efex or LR .... a full set I think.

@yrhenwr :) the breaks on the waves are not quite as sharp as i would have liked them to be... this would have required a smaller aperture and a faster shutter speed - which would have required more light :)

@northy OK fair enough... but I still like it! It's the rock that does it for me... like a body about to be taken by the wave.
