I see so many amazing sunset shots on this site and it does make me feel a little envious, because for me, I have to do some driving to get a shot like this. So last evening I jumped in the car to see if I could find a spot to capture the sun going down. I also hoped that the few clouds in the sky would stick around to add some drama to the shot and I was not disappointed.
i love sunsets and sunrises and especially ones as dramatic as this. love the golden tone. did you wait to see the colours after the sun set behind the clouds? that's when you get the deep red colours and the clouds just enhanced them. aces, kid! aces!
@summerfield I did wait MsV, but the colours were not nearly as delightful as this. Maybe next time, when I have a feeling to move from the sofa and get out of the house, the sky will put on another spectacular show for me. Thanks a bunch! :)
@peterlgrave You are so lucky to have the opportunity to pick and choose your sunset shots. Because I see so few in their full glory, I'm just happy to have one. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for all the kind words and favs. I'm always surprised when my images make it onto the TP & PP with so many of you talented people. :)
Beautiful! Worth the drive and more precious because of it. When we go back to the US, I will be in the same boat. It will make me sad. I will have to climb the mountain behind me to get both sunset and sunrise.
