There used to be a river running through the city centre of Tórshavn, but it is now running under ground. To open up the river again would be much too expensive, so the city council decided to make an illustration of it, so this project opened yesterday I believe. I met the mayor, Heðin Mortensen and congratulated him on this wonderful project. Last time I visited, it was just a construction site.
