From our recent trip to Batavia for Thanksgiving. I overslept this morning and have the feeling I'm fighting off a cold, so I decided to post another shot from our afternoon walk on Thanksgiving day. I was attempting to get that lace-like effect the sun makes when it is filtered by grasses and wildflowers in a field.
@cimes1 Thank you Carole- I'm on my second cup of tea- lots of fluids and zi-cam should help keep this one at bay! @mrssmith Thanks Carla- I'm going to spend some restful hours looking at everyone's pictures and then go to bed (o: @annaruth Thanks Anna!
@karenann Thanks Karenann! I stayed inside today, just looking at 365 photos and playing around with pictures while Jeff watched football. I had a couple cups of tea and I'll take some extra stuff tonight and hopefully head this thing off at the pass. @kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry! @digitalrn Thanks Rick- I'm fighting it, and might just beat it, if I keep it up with the liquids. @sanera Thanks Samantha!
@allie912 Thank you Allison! If kind words are magic, I'm cured. @crickle1969 Thanks Crickle. The only processing I did on this was to slightly warm up the temperature and add a bit of saturation. I did this to get the shot to where I saw it. Other than that, it's not altered. I know it looks like sepia tone, but it's the natural color produced by "the golden hour" (4-5pm).
@nicolecampbell Thank you so much Nicole. I think I will be able to avoid this one. I've been drinking lots of liquids today, so it will be hard for any virus to take root.
I just love the golden sun! This morning after studying ...an all nighter.. whew! I was treated to the sun rising like a face upon the horizon before the fog came in like a mist to cover the world again in its grey winter coat!
@potsbypam Thank you Pam- I hope your studying paid off (not only in that you got to see a pretty sunrise, but academically too!). @daveanajao Thank you Dave! @alia_801 Thank you Alia!
@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! Yes, I'm feeling a little better this morning. I seem to have warded off the extreme stuff a cold brings, but the energy level is definitely down. So, I'll take it easy again today and keep up the liquid intake. The virus can't take hold if you keep flushing it out!
@olivetreeann I have no idea. The professor has yet to grade anything for any students past week six. Next week is the last week of the class on Friday.
@kloud Thank you so much Bonnie- I had wanted to take a shot like this from the beginning of 365- it took all the way into November to finally be in a place where the conditions were right, but I was very pleased with this. Thank you so much for all these encouraging comments. I have such a deep admiration for your shots!
