I'm coming down homestretch on the treasure hunt and I'm totally running out of ideas! I had hoped to pick up a layer cake at the supermarket (It's always so much better when you can eat the subject for dessert after you shoot it!) but they didn't have any in the bakery! So I was forced to photograph lunch today even though there aren't very many layers to a sandwich! But I did find a cool quote by Mary K to match the shot and word!
So how much longer??? now what has Mary K. Ash to do with layers>>
how many layers of cosmetic can she put on someone's face? I was joined her team and still have stuff I had to buy..was never good at selling this kind of products.
@karenann Thanks Karenann! lol @bruni Thanks Bruni! I have two words left- friends (which I have a shot planned) and sunrise (and am not looking forward to getting up to do that!) It's not so much that Mary K has to do with layers (the sandwiches had the layers) but that the quote contained the words sandwich and layers, that's all. I sold Avon for a while- it takes a lot of work. @potsbypam Thanks Pam! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri!
Good shot of your sandwich - at least you still got an edible photo! I'm struggling with some of the words too - and I want to double up a few of them so I can finish at the end of the month... Could be a challenging challenge for the last few days!
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian! Enjoy the snack! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen- yummy! @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- we did enjoy them (and I don't need the calories from the cake anyway!) @steeler Thanks Howard! @alia_801 Thanks Alia- I'd thought of the layers we put on to go outside in the cold too, or the layers we put on the bed to stay warm at night, but ended up with this shot at lunch and decided to keep it. I was going to double up on some too, but fortunately was able to conquer some of the tougher words with a little creativity and stretching the word a bit! I know you'll come up with your own solutions!
i've been meaning to go to the grocery store to get a slice of cake, too, but i've been putting it off. i'm really running out of steam with this challenge. your quote totally matches the 'sandwich layers'. was that corned beef hash? i just made some for the grands and they loved it. hope you enjoyed yours.
@mrssmith Thank you Carla! It was either the sandwhich or a bunch of sweaters! @dmariewms Thanks Marie! @woot Thank you Davide! @summerfield Thank you Vikki- it's leftover meatloaf, mayo, a little ketchup, and potato bread.
@cimes1 Thank you Carole. The picture was good, but I just felt it needed something fun put into it, so off to the internet I went to find a quote about sandwiches and found this one that had the word layer in it and voila!
