I was looking for something different to do in January of year #3 and came up with this idea. I'm posting a photo at the beginning of the week and playing with the processing of it each day thereafter. This is a cool clacking toy Lucy got for Christmas. Unfortunately I couldn't seem to get a good shot of it. So here's the original. I wonder what will happen to it with four days of processing fun ahead!
I think that this is a great challenge, Ann. And I know that you'll have fun processing it with all kinds of cool apps! Since I hardly process my pics to begin with, I'd be stuck for ideas AND creativity! I know that you won't be tho. Have fun. :)
@maggiemae I think I'm going to enjoy it- there are many times when I see more than one way to process a shot. Especially if it's not such a great shot as is this one!
@karenann Thank you Karenann! You sell yourself short- you'd be quite creative once you started- but I like your approach too and it works well for you- so don't change unless you want to! (o: @digitalrn Thanks Rick- it's either going to drive me crazy or it will be a lot of fun- or maybe both!
i am so looking forward to what would happen to this toy. my challenge for myself this week is night shots. and i still don't like to do much processing. but you know i've improved now that i like black and white, right?
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @summerfield Thanks Vikki! Oh yes your horizons are definitely broadening! But I think you would have a blast playing around with some of these programs. It's like pulling a story out of each shot. @prttblues Thanks Bev! I think everyone is creative- but not all know how to draw that creativity out of themselves. It's not necessarily their own fault. Some people don't have it instilled in them from childhood- but it can always be found with the right encouragement and resources. @pandorasecho Thank you Dixie! And thanks for the fav! I was really looking for something different challenge-wise. Well, this is different!! @paulavdmerwe Thank you Paula! @sangwann Thank you Dione! @sharritta Thank you Sharon! @mrssmith Thank you Carla!
Setting a challenge for yourself is neat and I know you can follow it through. so I'll have to start with this picture. neat little noise maker. now to the next.
Hi Ann, there doesn't seem to be a private way to contact you so I thought I'd post a comment in an old photo. Do you sell your photos at all? I'd love to hang the one you posted on 29th September on my wall.
@kaesebiscuit Brain is trying to remember Sep. 29 picture...oh! the shadow. Wow- you want to buy that??? I am honored!! I would be happy to sell you a copy but I would have no idea what to charge. So, here's my email... Olivetreeann@yahoo.com Feel free to offer suggestions and descriptions of what you imagine for your wall. I have a nice camera shop that can print as large as 16 x 20. I'm sure we will come up with something very fair. My goodness! You will be my first official sale!
