Lamp Light

After learning more than I ever wanted to know about ochre (there are several variations of ochre: yellow-ochre, orange-ochre, red-ochre and brown-ochre), I decided that I do not really have any ochre- red, yellow or otherwise- in my home. This was the closest I could come up with.

Pretty lighting. Good ochre find. I had difficult finding ochre too until I noticed that the squirrel outside had ochre tones in its coat.

@edie Thanks Edie! I've been noticing shadows lately and that's actually what drew me to this picture- not the color but the way the shadow was cast on the wall behind the lamp.

@summerfield Thank you Vikki! lol I really do not see this as ochre- it's gold and beige to me. (Although in reality, the wall is white, the lampshade is definitely brown, and the lampstand is brass!)
