Lemon

I love this little place setting. Christopher made it for me when he took art in high school. It surprised me when he signed up for the class because he really wasn't interested in art. That was his brother's forte. But this particular class was less about drawing and more about tactile art like pottery. So since I had them out, I used them for lunch today!

i love to look at things that i know have a history or special meaning. a lot of our 'mundane' stuff are all gone - that's what happens when you leave your roots behind. yet if i had my way, i'd have brought our whole house here. this set is lovely and so special. the colour says so.
