I love this little place setting. Christopher made it for me when he took art in high school. It surprised me when he signed up for the class because he really wasn't interested in art. That was his brother's forte. But this particular class was less about drawing and more about tactile art like pottery. So since I had them out, I used them for lunch today!
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @taffy Thanks Taffy! I went back and forth between blue and yellow- finally decided it should be yellow so I'm glad you said that!
Fav! How lovely that your son made this, it looks so professional! Really pretty light and processing to bring out the shape and texture here Ann. I don't know how I've been missing your photos, they don't seem to have been on my home page!!
@jackie8 Thanks Jackie! I know for me it's easy to start missing someone's pictures. Most of the time I can only comment on the ones who have commented on mine and if a person misses a day, they end up falling through the cracks somehow. So, don't feel bad! I'm just glad you found them again! I appreciate all your comments! And thank you so much for the fav!!
i love to look at things that i know have a history or special meaning. a lot of our 'mundane' stuff are all gone - that's what happens when you leave your roots behind. yet if i had my way, i'd have brought our whole house here. this set is lovely and so special. the colour says so.
@taffy Thanks Taffy! I went back and forth between blue and yellow- finally decided it should be yellow so I'm glad you said that!
