Thank you to one and all (as well as apologies for the catch all thank you!). For those who want to know: took the shot of these egg shells at Dale and Judy's house. Dale had them stacked by the door on top of a metal housing of some sort. I think he uses them in his garden but I'm not sure why- although I know I've heard of gardeners doing that to put some sort of nutrient or such in the soil. Judy does a lot of baking and they sometimes have eggs for breakfast so there's always a plentiful supply. So I cannot take credit for the uniform cracking, nicely cleaned eggs shells- but I can take credit for seeing the photo opp and taking it!
@henrir Thank you Henri- what a nice thing to say! I chuckled and thought, "What box?" (o: It's true though- as much as I like my comfort zone in many ways, photography does get me to think about how things could be done differently.
