We took Isaac to the park and while he and Gampy were running around the baseball diamond, I was keeping myself busy as a bee shooting flowers and whatever else caught my eye. I had just focused on this dandelion when an unexpected but propitiously timed visitor arrived. Watching him crawl around the top of the flower sipping away got me to thinking, "Wouldn't it be great to have a built in straw like a bee?" You'd never have to go searching for one when you ordered a milkshake or your favorite beverage! This fellow seemed to be pleased with his.
Nice shot, Ann! I could never shoot this kind of bee... only bumble bees for me. Ones like this might sting and kill me (well a bumble bee could too but odds are wouldn't because they'd die too!!)... Excellent detail and very brave! Well done :)
