Houseplant Appreciation Day

I found myself in a little bit of an emotional slump last week. On Friday I was wondering what to shoot when I remembered the January word list! Someone must have had a lot of time on their hands to come up with this holiday!

I once got stabbed by a cactus when I was little and Mom had to pick out the stickers with tweezers. I still wince a bit when I see cactii! Haha But your "star shaped" one is quite nice! even with my bad memories.

@nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole. I'm finding that tweaking the exposure and contrast is really helping to bring those aspects out in my pictures.
