My friend Jeanne is without a car so I've been helping her run errands. This poor fellow looked much better last week, but a few days of warmer weather and a rainy day today has made him look a little bedraggled!
No fancy processing on this one. It was basically black and white to begin with! White snow, black hat and eye, and gray sky almost made me leave it as it was. But I converted it anyway and was pleased to see the gray tones become stronger when I did. Added just a little kick in contrast and that was it.
Once again- thank you to everyone for the overwhelming response to yesterday's shot and it's "also ran" counterpart in album #2. Thanks to your generosity I have had a fantastic week here on 365- two shots on the PP and three on the Trending Page! To say that I am excited, would be putting it mildly!
I think the trending and the PP accolades keep us striving for something special and sometimes it happens! This is such a funny snowman - he has character!
Nice shot, Ann. It looks like he needs some minor repairs. It's supposed to get cold again, so he can get fixed. It should be a sign of Spring when you see melting snowmen.
Congrats on your shots being on the trending and PP. I gave up getting back to the PP a long time ago and don't ever expect to appear on trending. Glad you made it though. Hope you got screen shots of it.
