And so a month of rusty pictures comes to a quiet close. At first I thought I might post a picture from the place that started it all- Bethlehem Steel. But in the end I really felt I should find another rusty shot from my own backyard. Well, it's not exactly my backyard- it's my neighbor's! They left for vacation today and I decided to see what rusty things were hiding in the pile of debris left in their driveway from a recent home-improvement project. This pathway of nails seemed to be saying to me that my attraction to rust shots has only just begun and that there are many more pictures to be taken. So although these 31 days have come to a close, the rust will continue to pop up every now and then.
Yay, you made it. Congratulations, Ann. Great DOF and extreme rust in this one. Now let's see a screen shot for the month to see the neat view of rusty thumbnails.
Thank you all! I am once again in the middle of a busy set of days- friends for dessert last night, a funeral today and my niece arriving later for a short visit. I'll be back later to check out your shots- but I couldn't let the day begin without thanking you for your faithful support!
@homeschoolmom Thanks Lisa! Not to worry- I don't usually go climbing around stuff like this and for this shot I basically set the camera down on the wood where there were no nails and took the shot. Easy breezy! @jmrittle Thanks Marc! And thank you so much for the fav!!
