Well, my oh my, Miss Ann is late getting this week's final Sunday post up! She's got a good excuse though. Her wonderful grandchildren were in town Sunday so there really wasn't much time for us to think about what we'd like to post this week, much less take a picture of it!
However, after searching through the puzzle book in search of something pithy and witty, we found the perfect saying to end the month AND to commemorate the wonderful time we had while Leigh, Sam and Lucy were here:
"A mother becomes a true grandmother the day she stops noticing the terrible things her children do because she is so enchanted with the wonderful things her grandchildren do." Lois Wyse
I am posing with one of Leigh's masterpieces although I'm not quite sure what it means!
It's been fun sharing Sundays with you this month! I'll be off for a while, but you never know when I'll be back! Until then, smile every day and when you need a pick me up, drink tea!
oh, my goodness, did leigh really take after you with her artistry! that's even worth framing. (i have one or two of the boys that indeed i shall have framed one of these days. i'm so glad they visited you.)
@summerfield Thank you Vikki! Yes, she is very creative- but so are both of her parents and all of her grandparents. The other two are just as creative but in a different way. Of course when Leigh discovered the Critters and Piggy she immediately wanted to make a story up with them- which we did!
Thank you Rick, Kate, Debs, Colleen, Suse, Joyce, Pam, Ann, Diane, Kerri, Henri and Colleen!
