Jeff's condition did not improve so in the early morning hours we decided it was time to go to the emergency room. He was diagnosed with pneumonia but thankfully was able to come home. There's lots of bed rest awaiting him over the next few days.
Thank you so much for all your kind and concerned comments! Jeff is on the mend- a bit weak, but feeling better and somewhat stronger every day. The doctor in the ER said that if we had waited any longer, he'd having been admitted. So I'm glad he finally admitted we needed to get help. He's responding really well to the antibiotic. As for me, the cold my grandson had finally caught up with and took over me! So I've been down and out for the last few days- hence my absence on 365. I will once again (this is becoming my 365 theme song) be catching up with you.
Yes, without the processing this was a very uninspiring and boring hospital room. I knew it needed something- and since worry tends to weigh one down, why not a cartoon effect to perk it up!
@summerfield yes- he's ok and wishes he was three weeks healthy in 3 days- meaning perfectly fine! And yes, I'm working on Flash of Red. I decided to put together my own booklet this year. Hopefully I'll have it finished by Feb. 1!
@kwind Thank you Kim- well, I know what your son goes through is much worse than Jeff's temporary health set-back. I hope he is ok and that he will not need to make another visit there all too soon.
