A new week and a new frame- well sort of! Every once in a while I like to return to my "hang it all over the mantle" set up and put new pictures above the photos on my mantle. So this week I'll use some of my recent photo jaunts to fill in the frame. First up- an old Ford truck from the car show I went to in May.

From her position as a performer, she takes a central position in her work - in front of or behind the camera - without it becoming biographical or personal. She sees identity as an open and therefore dynamic construction in constant dialogue with the outside world. PacquƩe is an outsider, she is only too happy to escape categorization and the accompanying expectations. The exhibition undermines the seemingly unchanging concept of identity in various ways.
