This was taken the day before Irene blew into town. Believe it or not, 45 minutes after I took this photo, the sun was shining and I drove home from the pool wearing my sunglasses.
@karenann Thanks Karenann. I love the fog too. I love what it does to the light. I love what it does to sound and I also enjoy how it slowly disappears with the sun.

I do love it when I come to the pool (which is in the community clubhouse on top of this mountain) and see the fog settled over the hills. Most of the time, it looks so thick, but when we're finished it has vanished. Such is the nature of wind and mist.
@friendie Thanks Carole- yes I usually do- even when I don't want to bring it along, I scold myself and say, "You might miss something if you don't!" lol
