Was unseasonably warm- 72 degrees F.! On December 13th! I can honestly say I have never seen it this warm in December in my entire life. We had gone into Stanhope to see our niece Katie in "A Christmas Carol" the musical. It was a wonderful production in a very interesting theater. We arrived early, so we took a walk about town. I couldn't resist taking a shot of this Dad and his son. If it weren't for the barren trees in the background, you'd think it was Spring!
What a lovely and candid Dad/son photo. And, here, it is colder that we have seen it in ages....... down within a degree or two of freezing at night, only up to about 50 deg. F (10 deg. C.) during the day. We are NOT used to this.

You're right- he was folding up a folding chair. @cruiser Thank you Chris! I don't really buy that global warming stuff. Truth is the earth has always had periods of warmth and cold- even in the extreme. It runs in cycles and we just happen to be in a warm cycle right now.

@olivetreeann We are in Escondido, about 35 minutes north of downtown San Diego. We lived in San Diego for 33 years until 12 years ago when we moved "north"!!
@salza Thank you Sally! It doesn't feel like winter either! @aglennc She's in Pine Valley. I just remember it being a very pretty area with lovely balmy temps. How "funny" that you're having the cold weather now and we're warm!
