Yesterday I saw the consultant who did my knee replacement on 6th December. He was very pleased with my new knee - it looked good in the Xray! He was very pleased with the scar and said it has healed beautifully. More importantly he was pleased with the bend I have achieved and how I can straighten knee. More to achieve so I must continue with the exercises. The good news was that I can drive again ! I am so pleased that we will be able to get out even if it’s only to walk around the local shops! I took this shot today on our first visit to town to M&S Simply Food. So wonderful to be driving again- it’s definitely the little things that bring the most pleasure! Walking round the shop then back across the car park was just about enough for today. Hope I will be walking a little further every day!
