The little robin had to wait in line for the food this morning. The blackbirds were there as soon as I put the meal worms out and were gorging themselves. There is definitely a hierarchy among the birds as to who feeds first and who has to wait in line!!

B&W is perfect for setting up the bird against the softer tones/lines of the branches. Have you thought of doing three different perspectives on one of your robins?
Love the light and detail in this robin capture. I find I am waiting too--for the end of so many b&w shots in February. Some of them have been wonderful, and I admire those who stuck to it for the month, but my eyes do ache for colour when I'm commenting these days.
