We drove to The Roaches today and had a lovely walk. The views were stunning!!
The first time I visited the Roaches I was on a photography course and there was 6 of us all lined up with our tripods taking shots of the view. Under the tree in the middle of the shot was a couple having a picnic. The guy then got down on one knee and proposed to the girl - all captured by us photographers!! The chap looked up and saw us all and came running up the hill to us carrying a punnet of strawberries for us. He was apologising for spoiling our shots and explained that he had asked the farmer if he could use the field for his romantic proposal. We told him that we had caught the moment with our cameras and he was thrilled when the Pro photographer offered to send a copy to him. A lovely moment!!

What a great story.....I loved it!! He sounded like a terrific guy, too, so thoughtful of spoiling the fun of others by being in their scene! I am sure the photographers had a wonderful time documenting the scene, and he ended up with a wonderful keepsake!! Beautiful!
