2016 01 11 - Time for a walk

Finlay waiting in the hall for me to get the lead and take him out for a walk. Another shot practicing with my fisheye lens.

Sorry I haven't been commenting as much as I normally like to but there have been some family issues recently and I haven't been out with the camera or spent much time on 365 - life has taken over once again!!

How wonderful to see Finlay on the PP this morning! Many thanks for getting it there.
INSTANT FAV!

You've gotten the hang of the role of lines in a fisheye. This is a good one to frame Finlay.

No worries Pam, we're all in the same boat with intermittent busyness and or distractions. Love the fisheye effect, works so well with Finlay. What lens did you get? I'm very tempted.
January 12th, 2016
Love all those lines!

The fisheye gives this a great perspective. No worries about not commenting, it is hard to always keep up.

Wonderful choice of lens, the lines are great, the expression too cute and choice of bw is perfect. Awesome image!

Life has a way of doing that! I love this!

Fish eye works really well for this! Is it a Canon lens or compatible one, Canon lenses are so expensive, but I'd love them all if I won the lottery!
January 12th, 2016
Congrats on the PP!

Must have missed this one Pam, just seen it on PP, knew it was Finlay! My first thought was that he was on the treadmill!

I've looked at this photo a number of times now and it always brings a smile to my face. The fisheye is incredible effective. Was the dog providing room service ? {shady}

Great capture :)

@golftragic @jackie8 My fisheye lens is the Canon 8-15mm - expensive yes but worth it I think.
January 12th, 2016
@pamknowler Thanks Pam. I'll need to look a little further, that lens is for full-frame cameras and I have a 7D ll, an APS-C camera. Back to the drawing board.
