2016 03 14 Blackbird

The blackbird was chasing the robins off the mealworms yesterday. He seemed very determined to have them all himself. I have noticed that the blackbirds have started to sing loudly early in the morning - when t's still dark. Finlay hears them and thinks it's time to get up!! Do they do doggy earplugs? LOL!!
Great pov and effect!

Our Blackbirds are doing the same... it's so lovely to wake to their songs in the morning. We have about 5 in the garden at the moment .. I don't think I've ever seen so many in our garden at once!

Wonderful focus on the eye, and the detail in the feather really pops with the b&w processing.

Excellent shot and processing Pam. I'm happy to admire photos of blackbirds. Not at all keen on them in my garden though, they make an awful mess scratching around and dislodging seedlings.
