This is the State Music Room at Chatsworth. Can you see the violin through the open door hanging on the other door? It is actually a painting of a violin painted by Jan van der Vaardt (c.1653-1727). It is so real it is hard to believe it is a painting!!
Best on black of course!!
Many thanks for your lovely response to my Chatsworth shots. Today we have Storm Katy and it is not a camera day so I have decided to use another shot from the great house. In fact I think I will be using my shots all week as I am busy getting ready to go to Devon on Friday for a week. I am hoping for good weather (LOL) and look forward to getting shots at the seaside!! Finlay excited as he loves the beach!!
Wow, that wide angle really brings the whole sumptuous room into view. I can't imagine living in such surroundings... worrying about getting something dirty, for heaven's sake, but it is a gorgeous place.
