Sarah @piximac and I went Kingfisher hunting today but as you can see from my shots we did not even see one fly past!! Never mind - the sun was shining - what better way to spend some time catching up and getting excited chatting about our trip to Chicago in just over two weeks!!
As we sat on the river bank this Red Kite flew gracefully overhead. What a beauty!!

This is a great shot Pam. We saw lots of these driving back from Austria to Switzerland a few weeks ago but sadly I was in the car and couldn't get a good shot.
