A quick upload of one of todays many shots of an eagle catching fish which has been thrown overboard from the schooner we were sailing on. This was so exciting I don't know how I managed to get so many fabulous shots as I know my hands were shaking!! Best on black!
We have been on Cape Bretton Island for the last couple of days to see the Fall colours and I will be sharing lots of those shots in the days to come I expect. What a stunning drive along the Cabot Trail!! It took us much longer than expected to do the whole trail as we just had to make many photo stops!! Poor Ken was getting it in stereo - STOP!!!! So funny - he deserves a medal!!
What a fabulous finish to our road trip. We were blessed with glorious weather for the Cabot trail which showed the colours at their best. After the storm on Monday the whole of Cape Bretton Island had no WiFI - it must have been the tail end of the hurricane!! Back home again in Lunenburg and Louise and I have been exchanging each others photos. Such fun!!
Since I don't seem to be getting my photos uploaded .... I suppose I could just stop the sentence there! This was "just another" in a string of amazing days since Pam arrived! It was her urging that found us on the beautiful 64' schooner watching the captain throwing fish to "his pet eagles" he's been feeding for 25 years! Wouldn't I love to add an eagle to my collection of "back yard pets", but Pam's extraordinary eagle photos will suffice beautifully as a substitute! I've been too busy just trying to look through my photos to pick some to post. Keep enjoying Pam's! They're *The Best*!
I'm having a terrible time trying to capture flying birds
