I took Finlay for his haircut and what a lovely surprise there were 4 new little puppies for me to cuddle!! They are 4 weeks old and utterly gorgeous!! There is one little boy not yet taken and I am so tempted!! The one on the left is the one that took my fancy. What shall I do - shall I bring this little one home with me as a companion for Finlay?
Decision made - NO!! I think it would be too much for my sister to look after Finlay plus a puppy when I go away on holiday or visit friends. She would not be able to cope. So NO!! Oh well it was lovely to have a cuddle today. I must not go over there when there are puppies available!!
Pam, I believe that you are asking the wrong people! Most are going to say 'bring him home'. They are adorable and the temptation must be so great especially since one is available :-)
What is it about puppies that is SO irresistible? These puppies are darling, and I love the picture. What does Finlay think about a new puppy? Are you willing to put the time and effort into starting a new puppy? At least you aren't thinking about a second Great Dane or Irish Wolfhound!
@taffy Decision made - NO!! Much as I was tempted I think it would be unfair to leave my sister with Finlay plus a puppy to look after when I go away on holiday or visiting friends. It would be too much for her I think. So decision made!! I must make sure I don't go over there again when there is an available puppy!!
I know it's so tempting but you have to be realistic & retirement is freedom, a dig does not give freedom lovely as they are! That's why we haven't a dog for the first time in our lives. They are adorable too so can see why you were tempted, right decision!
I would be tempted too - but they don't stay puppies for ever and two dogs is 100% more than one dog - I didn't need to say this - you have already realised this!
OMG! I just realized I'd faved this photo and then took off to send it to everyone!!! If that's not about THE CUTEST photo! Be Strong, Pam! God made them to look like this so we might be easily swayed! Think, "Meringues!" "Cookies!" "Breads!" "Kitchen Aid" and money left over for some new cookbooks! xox...Be Strong! I can't say it enough! ♥
@pamknowler I think you are totally wise on this. And @jyokota and I have too many trips planned that include you (down the way of course, but in our minds and thoughts) to think you'd have to decline because of puppy obligations! But definitely a very tough decision!
