Still going through my Nova Scotia images for my book. I really like this shot of the eagle - he has picked up the fish which was thrown from the boat and taken it back to the beach. He seemed to be enjoying his dinner!!
Many thanks for your great comments and Favs on yesterdays images - two of which were on the PP this morning. So lovely to see them there!!
@weezilou Louise I am still ploughing through all my photos - I only have 6 more days to complete the book under the special offer. Better work faster!! LOL!!
Nothing like "being there"! Isn't this wonderful?! Thank you HEAPS for the high sign to have a look! My days have become even more full now that Ken is away & I'm taking care of my two house guests & their fried who isn't getting the royal treatment where he's staying ; ) I'm heading to bed in a moment as I told them I'd ave breakfast for them at 9...eggs and biscuits that I'll make in the morning. I may be wondering why I thought this was a good idea come 8 AM as I'm getting ready!
@pamknowler I'm thinking, You haven't heard of "Biscuits and Eggs?!!!" and then it strikes me...as Ken would say, "Separated by a common language!" Biscuits here aren't "cookies"...they're ahem...what to say, "biscuits!" ahhh...a scone! ...I suppose if I'd said, "Biscuits and Gravy", you would have said, "Yuck"! (Do Brits say, "Yuck"?) That would be a breakfast to have with fried green tomatoes...very rural and southern! (Up here they eat gravy on what you call "Chips" (French Fries) and THAT's totally Canadian and not American at all! Funny, eh? ("eh" is Canadian...Americans end with, "huh"...)
@Weezilou Just sent an email - spooky!! I have just read out this comment to Barb as I thought it was funny!! She says the gravy with chips is very Northern in this country and that many of our Northerners must have emigrated to Canada!! Well they do seem to have all the UK names in Canada so thats one more thing they took with them!! LOL!!
