Been busy having a sort out of my clothes. I have been really firm with myself and if I haven't worn it in the last year it has gone. Four big bags to the charity shop- one including shoes I will never wear again - a pair of brown suede high heals I wore to my friends daughters wedding. How on earth did I wear them all day I wonder? I never wear heals now - since my foot problem it's been flat and comfortable all the way! It felt good to get rid of all this "stuff" . All my skirts went too as I never wear skirts now - one even had the label still on it! Life's laundry! It was a good day but only the start! I am definitely in the mood to have a good clear out! Lol!
This dahlia was so dark it looked gorgeous- really lush if that makes sense. I love these flowers and would love to grow them but don't have much room left in the garden.
Lagging behind again especially with my comments on your images. Will I ever catch up?
That is a totally gorgeous colour, fabulous. I admire your clean-out enthusiasm. I did something similar a few years back, then the weight I'd lost found me again and those clothes would've fitted me again. Sigh. I'm sure clothes shrink in my wardrobe.
@golftragic my thought process is - even if I loose the weight to fit the clothes again they will have gone out of fashion as it's been so long since I was that size! Lol!
A gorgeous flower and color! Good for you weeding out! When you finish, you can come help me too! I think with age comes wisdom that we don't need all this stuff anymore! Its time to wear what we want, do more of what we want...and let the rest go. :)
Lovely shot of this dahlia.
