Finlay was in the garden this afternoon when he suddenly started to bark and rush round the garden almost crying. I went out to see what was the matter with him and saw this beautiful young cat on the shed roof. I tried to shoo him away, then threw some small stones at him with no effect. I finally got out he hose pipe and tried to spray him with water. Even then he did not want to move!! Meanwhile Finlay was almost having a heart attack - how dare this cat come into his garden.
I think this answers the question - could we get a cat? LOL!!
The background was so overexposed I took the shot into Topaz Texture effects.

The background works perfectly for this. What a lovely looking cat. Interestingly both Skye and Pixie got absolutely crazy if a cat dares to enter the garden but when I have them all with me and visit a friend who has 6 cats, they don't bother about them at all. So with my lot I think it's more about invasion of their garden and not actually the cat. Plus when Skye came to us as a puppy we had two cats so she's had experience living with cats.
